Shops and Street Markets

During my extensive wanderings all over the planet, I visited many shopping centres, generally smaller ones and what looked like an endless number of street markets. This gallery has a collection of the more interesting and well-known ones.

One thing to note: there is only a single example from the Tai Po Markets visit, as this is not a tourist area, and some of the locals looked a little uncomfortable with me taking photos of the markets. So, not wanting to upset anyone, I put the camera down.

And no, no one said anything; it's just the feeling. Regardless, I did feel totally safe walking through these markets carrying a DSLR openly.
